Millennials (also known as Generation Y) are the demographic cohort following Generation X (GenX). To be clear,  GenX was mostly a western country phenomenon. African GenX’s were getting into the world market late and catching up on trends much slower than the current Millennials. This is the probably the first generation to start denting the global statistics on the scale of Millennials. But that does not mean we know how to deal with them.

There is a lot of good information out there about Millennials. There is a lot of bad information out there about Millennials. Most of the time it is the same information. You just have to pick what applies to you, and that can be a nightmare scenario. That can be especially difficult in an African space where Millennials, their expectations, and their experiences are never what they seem. If how to manage Millennials and build inspiring opportunities for them and yourself in the process is something you have an interest in, then we should have something you can benefit from.
